Alpha Delta Pi Theta Gamma Chapter became an official chartered chapter at Sonoma State University on November 10, 2007. Theta Gamma is the 195th chapter opened by Alpha Delta Pi since it was founded on May 15, 1851. Alpha Delta Pi is committed to sisterhood, values and ethics, high academic standards and social responsibility.
Alpha Epsilon Pi, the Global Jewish Fraternity, was founded to provide opportunities for a Jewish man seeking the best possible college and fraternity experience. We have maintained the integrity of our purpose by strengthening our ties to the Jewish community and serving as a link between high school and career. Alpha Epsilon Pi develops leadership for the Global Jewish community at a critical time in a young man's life.
Alpha Gamma Delta is an international women's fraternity that promotes academic excellence, philanthropic giving, ongoing leadership, personal development and, above all, a spirit of loving sisterhood. Guided by our Purpose, Alpha Gamma Deltas strive to attain a higher standard, thereby improving their lives, the lives of those around them and the communities in which they live. Together, we continually work to inspire the woman and impact the world.
AOII is a solid foundation of deep, enduring friendship since 1897. AOII stands for character, dignity, scholarship, and college loyalty among its members. Supports the best interests of the university. Through sisterhood, prepares its members for the life long journey ahead. To live, lead, learn, and serve in the community. Creating memories that will last a lifetime. AOII strives to acknowledge its members to make healthy and wise life decisions.
Far from the stereotype of fraternities in recent years, Alpha Sigma Phi provides its undergraduate men with character and leadership development programs that are second to none.
Family, Friends, and Potential Sisters- Alpha Xi Delta, Theta Beta Chapter, has a long standing tradition at Sonoma State University. We have been a strong and active chapter since our installation at Sonoma. Since then, our chapter has touched the lives of every member; providing a home away from home and amazing bonds that last a lifetime. We are always looking forward to offering young women the opportunity to join us in a lifetime of sisterhood. We believe that the happiest memories, proudest achievements, and the ideal college experience are waiting for you in Alpha Xi Delta. Please free to contact us with any questions.
Sigma Rhos are all kinds of things. We take education seriously, we are strong, and we are respectful. Our skin is tough and comes in a variety of shades. We speak languages and dialects from all over the globe. We believe in a greater power, none, or many. We love who we want. We are all kinds of ages, heights and weights. We are athletes and gamers. We are mechanics, doctors, farmers, newscasters, poets, actors, lawyers, architects, teachers, and stay-at-home dads. We hail from rags and riches. We are gentlemen. We don't care how you choose to express yourself. We stand up for what we believe in. We laugh and cry and care. We are fathers, and brothers, and sons, and nephews, and uncles. We are family men. We are professional and we take care of business. We are fighters and we win. We are resilient. We are honest with each other and ourselves. We believe in our pillars and never take our letters for granted. Ever. Above all else, WE ARE SIGMA RHOs.
Members of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority are proud of our rich and accomplished history, dating back to our founding on November 11, 1874, at Syracuse University in New York. In a society where women were discouraged from attending college because of their "insufficient brainpower" and "delicate health," four friends came together to form a women's society. They bonded together to face adversity and to encourage one another's intellectual growth. Now, more than 137 years later, we celebrate the vision and dedication of those women -- and all who have come since then -- who have built Gamma Phi Beta Sorority into one of the largest and most well-respected sororities in the world. Our Mission is to inspire the highest type of womanhood. We will build confident women of character who celebrate sisterhood and make a difference in the world around us. We promote lifelong commitment, intellectual and personal growth and service to humanity. We advocate ethical behavior, respect, authenticity, accountability and integrity. We aspire to excellence in all that we do, and our motto is founded upon a rock because "the rock is the firmest and most enduring substance, able to withstand the ravages of time, and offering the strongest protection, it seemed fitting that Gamma Phi Beta should be thus founded.
The Inter-Fraternity Council is a group of like-minded fraternity men that represent 5 Fraternities on Campus: Alpha Epsilon Pi, Alpha Sigma Phi, Nu Alpha Kappa, Pi Kappa Phi, and Phi Delta Theta; These men meet and discuss a wide-range of fraternity issues, from fraternity ethics to public relations and business, and plan fraternity-wide sponsored events. IFC hosts Rush night and Bid night bi-annually, where our 5 fraternities recruit their new members, and Fraternity Olympics Annually. Majority of the events we host are geared toward raising awareness or funding for a pre-determined philanthropy or a specific fraternities philanthropy of choice. Contact our President Chris Schafer or Advisor Abbie Page if you have any questions, if you want to come into our meeting to advertise an event, or want to collaborate.

Our chapter was founded at Sonoma State University on April 19, 1997 by a group of students that wanted to create a membership that offered more for SSU Men. They looked for more than just a stereotypical fraternity, they looked for an organization that offered a bond of brotherhood, tradition and high principles. Thus began Phi Delta Theta, Cal Sigma (Sonoma State University) chapter. To date Cal Sigma has initiated 400 members, unique to themselves but complimenting to the existence of the brotherhood. Phi Delta Theta offers young college men the opportunity to go beyond a campus organization. With over 165 years of tradition, over 250,000 members, over 185 chapters through out the United States and Canada, it connects you with a community of like minded men who believe in friendship, loyalty and brotherhood. We believe that college should be more than just a collection of classes; it should be an experience that transforms your life. Your college career is about building your future, developing your career and personal success.
We are a dynamic, principled, passionately committed group of women who define ourselves not by our distinct differences, but by what we have in common. Founded in 1913 in New York City, on the basis that those of differing religious beliefs should be able to join the same organization, an unheard of idea during that time, Phi Sigma Sigma is internationally recognized as a progressive, successful women's philanthropic and social organization with cutting-edge leadership programming for college students, active clubs and special events for alumnae from coast to coast, a new Headquarters, a strong Foundation, state-of-the-art technological capabilities, and a strategic focus on our future. More than 60,000 members strong, our sisters are mothers, family, and community leaders, professionals of the highest caliber, role models, wives, daughters, and the closest of friends. All that is eternally good and strong and loyal and honest and powerful and beautiful in them is what Phi Sigma Sigma stands for.

When FAASSU was created in 1995 at Sonoma State University, it's likely the club's founding students never imagined the organization becoming the cultural and social force it is today—on campus and in the community. In the mid-1990s, FAASSU's founders wanted to create a group that initially catered to students of Filipino descent and spoke specifically about issues affecting Filipino-Americans everywhere. This first mission statement of FAASSU, shall we say, lives on today. The difference now is students from European, African, and Latin American backgrounds are sharing in the exploration and appreciation of Filipino history, heritage and culture...and it's been loads of fun. The collective multicultural feel of FAASSU is something almost no other student cultural club at SSU can lay claim to, and that's special. As Sonoma State's proud Filipino-American student organization, FAASSU offers a variety of social, cultural and political events available to anyone and everyone. If you are interested in joining FAASSU, most alumni and current members will tell you it's an experience worth investing in. The camaraderie and energy people bring to the table gives FAASSU such a different feel from other cultural clubs at SSU, and our multicultural member makeup only makes things better. We meet every Tuesday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. inside the Sonoma Valley Room, located on the second floor of the Student Center. Come by and see what we are all about. We'd love to meet you!
