We are excited to announce the 2026 Lobo Leadership Conference, at Sonoma State University. This conference is designed to empower new and returning student leaders by offering opportunities for growth, collaboration, and the development of leadership skills.

Whether you're a new student just stepping into leadership or a seasoned leader looking to refine your skills, the Lobo Leadership Conference is your launchpad to new ideas, stronger communities, and lasting change.

Call for Presenters

We are excited to announce the 2026 Lobo Leadership Conference at Sonoma State University! This conference is designed to empower both new and returning student leaders by providing opportunities for growth, collaboration, and the development of leadership skills.

We are currently seeking presentation proposals and invite students, staff, faculty, and alumni to submit session ideas that will inspire, challenge, and engage our campus community.

Proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis, and available time slots will close as they are filled—so we encourage early submissions.

Thank you for considering this exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of student leadership at Sonoma State University. We look forward to reviewing your submission and working together to create a meaningful and impactful conference on October 16, 2026.

Who can present?

We welcome presenters from across and beyond campus, including students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members.

What Are We Looking For?

We welcome a wide variety of topics and presentation formats that support student leadership development, personal growth, and community building. Sessions can be interactive, discussion-based, workshop-style, or presentation-focused.

Previous sessions have included:

  • Time Management — balancing leadership with academics and wellness
  • Building a Successful Club or Organization — strategies for recruitment, retention, and impact
  • Imposter Phenomenon — identifying and managing self-doubt
  • True Colors Workshop — understanding leadership styles through personality
  • Public Speaking Essentials — practical strategies to speak with confidence
  • Conflict Resolution — navigating challenges and fostering healthy team dynamics
  • Resume Building — how to effectively showcase leadership experience for internships and future careers
