What is GetInvolved@SSU?

GetInvolved@SSU is an online platform for student engagement and involvement opportunities to help you get connected at Sonoma State University. GetInvolved@SSU is home to over 120+ student organization portals ranging from special interest clubs to cultural orgs to sport clubs to fraternities and sororities and many more, you can find an organization that fits your personal passions and professional goals. GetInvolved@SSU is also where you can virtually connect with Associated Students of Sonoma State University where you can get involved with Student Government, serve the community with Join Us Making Process (JUMP), or fill up your social calendars with Associated Students Productions (ASP). GetInvolved@SSU also houses important sign-up forms, contests, news, and announcements from across campus that are vital to you as an involved Seawolf. 

How To's:
Create your Individual Account on GetInvolved@SSU
  1. Visit the GetInvolved@SSU

  2. In the top right corner of the GetInvolved@SSU landing page, select the blue button that says “Sign In”. You will be prompted to enter your SSU LDAP ID and password. 

  3. After you have successfully logged in, you will be asked to complete your basic GetInvolved@SSU profile, update your contact information, profile picture, student engagement interests, and preferences. 

Register Your Student Organization on GetInvolved@SSU
  1. Login to GetInvolved@SSU. If this is your first time logging in, it will prompt you to create your individual account. After that, it will direct you to the homepage. 

  2. From the GetInvolved@SSU homepage, click on the 'Organizations Tab' at the top of the page.

  3. Click the 'Register an Organization' button on the left side of the page underneath the search bar.

  4. Existing Organizations: Search for your organization in the search bar, then click the blue "Re-Register" button.

  5. New Organizations: Click the blue 'register a new organization" button at the bottom of the page.

  6. Complete the registration form in its entirety. Please note that you will need your updated constitution and emails of your organization members in order to add them to your portal. Each organization is required to have at least 5 active members to meet the minimum standards set forth in executive orders 1068 and the minimum qualifications for student office holders by the California State University system and Sonoma State University.
